Carlos Mijo Santino is the moniker of Copenhagen-based composer/producer Anton Funck. He is also a part of ensemble Josiah Konder with members of electronic act Lyra Valenza (Opal Tapes) and late punk band Ocean View (Big Oil Rec).
 "The One" is his fourth EP as Carlos Mijo Santino.

With aesthetic similarities to the dramatic compositions of Gustavo Santaoalla and the ambience of Cliff Martinez, Carlos Mijo Santino places emphasis on composition, paying close attention to the atmosphere of each track. With a background in movie score composition and sound design, Carlos Mijo Santino blends analogue synthesis and audio sampling with acoustic instruments such as mandolin and harmonica, delivering a style that is both abstract yet symphonic.

"The One" is mastered by Boris Wilsdorf (Producer/Sound engineer - Einstürzende Neubauten, Alva Noto, Nick Cave, Swans etc) at andereBaustelle Ton studio in Berlin.
